Pierre, That's a beautiful photo. Great subject. Great angle. The only thing I might try - purely personal taste - would be a swizzle to cropping - slightly less sky, cropping the blue vertical pipe and white blob in the water out. And I might try to bit more contrast - just my taste.
But it's an excellent photo!   Posted: 10/16/2026 20:26:31

Nice Photo Pierre with a good angle being so close to the water. It made the reflections very interesting. I liked how you cropped it and lightened the image. I agree with Jerry about removing the blob in the water and you may also consider removing distracting white spots in the water. The castle is rather imposing - nice job!   Posted: 10/22/2026 18:56:00
Thanks Bradford. Appreciated.   Posted: 10/23/2026 17:14:10
What a magnificent castle, Pierre, with such a commanding view. I think it would stand out more in the picture if you cropped a bit of the sky and water, and also the left edge so the castle wouldn't be right in the center. A little contrast might help set it off better, as well. Here is my attempt to do that.   Posted: 10/23/2026 02:36:36
Hi Kirk, thanks for these constructive comments.   Posted: 10/23/2026 17:15:19
Beautifully done, Pierre! I particularly like your choice of cropping, which brings the castle closer and gives greater emphasis to its lovely reflection. Personally, though, I prefer the more natural colors and softer tonality of your original image. I think combining your new composition with the original color treatment would produce an even more pleasing result. Just my personal taste, of course!   Posted: 10/25/2026 07:31:42
