Rizwan, great shot! Great expression on the subjects face. I suspect it was quite fun to take advantage of the opportunity to capture some images of this fellow at work.

Rizwan, he really does look like Charlie Chaplin that I have seen in photos. Like the monochrome treatment. Image has sharpness in critical areas and is a lot of fun and well composed. I do feel the background is very distracting (very bright) so I hope you don't mind that I darkened it. What do you think?   Posted: 10/10/2026 12:44:23

Yes, I agree with you. There are a lot of highlights in the background, which I tried to reduce. I will try to isolate the background and reduce the hightlights. Thanks!   Posted: 10/10/2026 14:52:31

Rizwan, I took the liberty to play with your image a little more. Let me know what you think?   Posted: 10/12/2026 00:39:46

This is a fun image. The image is sharp and I am not sure the background supports the anchor point of your subject. I'd consider a much wider aperture and longer focal length to compression the Chaplin into a more dreamy mode. The subject is intersting has lots of possibilities based upon your intent. Well done.   Posted: 10/12/2026 12:29:46

I thought I recognized this Charlie Chaplin. I live in Las Vegas, but missed the PSA Photo Festival as I had other commitments in Chicago. Several of the Nevada Camera Club members have entered their version of Chaplain in this month's photo contest.

This is a great image, especially in B&W. I agree with others regarding darkening the background. The big white column is the main distraction for me.   Posted: 10/25/2026 17:22:15
