John - Excellent image. Sharp and lots of detail. How did you achieve the black background?

Thanks for your comments. I was at Staples and saw a cardboard craft thing that was black on one side and white on the other. I was about 30 inches high and I thought this would be great when I take photos of the flowers in my yard.   Posted: 10/05/2026 13:45:33

Nice detail in the petals, and great job using the foam core as a background!   Posted: 10/21/2026 00:13:24

Hi John,

To my eye, the details of the sepal, signal, and veins are revealed beautifully in this image. The dark background seems to suggest a dramatic ambience.

Great Job. The detail of the petals unwinding is what caught my eye upon first glance.   Posted: 10/26/2026 18:24:39
