October 2026 - Bluegrass Festival in Brooksville FL
About the Image(s)
Last spring I attended a Bluegrass Festival in Brooksville FL. The music was delightful and so was the lighting. I only had my iPhone 15 Pro, so that’s what I used.

Your iPhone worked well for you, I like the image! I can't tell about the music but I do like the pastel-like lighting. It would have been nice to see the original image to see if you had more to work with on the bottom- showing a little more of the audience and less of overhead would help focus on the audience and performers. Like crop right through the highest horizontal framework supporting the lights. Posted: 10/09/2026 20:07:58
Richard, I'm going to try to paste the original image here.

I thought the theme was voluntary. And next month my photo will be on this month's theme Posted: 10/18/2026 22:53:52
Hi Norman, when we decided to make certain months dedicated to a given topic, we also said that it was on a voluntary basis. Members are free to post whatever image they want. Posted: 10/19/2026 12:57:59
Interesting image. I do like the pastel lighting also. I might have cropped the top a bit. Posted: 10/18/2026 23:39:46
Joan - I also enjoy taking shots of musicians at concerts and this one looks very interesting. The pastel lighting is unique and provides an upbeat and happy vibe.
I agree with Marilyn that you could crop some of the ceiling area as well as Richard who would like to see more of the audience. However, if you crop to just above the light boom that would focus more attention on the musicians. Posted: 10/19/2026 20:57:36
