About the Image(s)
I only had one evening to take this sunset but the clouds broke it up and was a good addition to the shot. ISO 125, f6.3, 1/250s

It is often a case of being in the right place at the right time. This can be by luck or good forward planning. Being at the top of a mountain at sunset must of been planned, getting the right light when you are there is possibly down to luck.
I like the layers in this picture from the foreground vegetation , through to the mountains in the distance and then the layers of colour in the sky.   Posted: 10/18/2026 09:58:50

Thank you John. The layers really added to the scene. Just pure luck because I had never been there before.   Posted: 10/23/2026 20:35:58

Nice idea. It does focus the eye more on the layers.   Posted: 10/23/2026 20:36:53
As John mentioned, the layers in this photo work well. The rich colors in the sky add to its appeal. Looks like you nailed your one evening to capture the sunset.   Posted: 10/18/2026 21:24:24

Beautiful image. I think the clouds, add more texture to the sky and also I think, the colors and tones are more accentuated.   Posted: 10/28/2026 04:24:51
