This is a can on a locomotive of the Isle of Man Steam Railway. I used Nik HDR to bring up the textures.

I like the concept and the way you highlighted the texture. I dared to play with the image in Lightroom. I decreased the exposure a little bit, increased the contrast and added a small amount of vignette. I liked how it turned out, I hope I did not ruin it. Posted: 10/18/2026 17:41:45
Interesting subject, John. Great detail and sharpness on the can and background. The exposure and contrast adjustments Carlos made enhances the separation between can and background. Overall, great image and I would not change anything else. Posted: 10/18/2026 21:02:51

Good work John. You created a nice photo that most of us would miss. I like the adjustments that Carlos made. I think if you repositioned the can in a true vertical position it would help. Posted: 10/27/2026 21:10:43
