About the Image(s)

This image, " Fishermen Village," in Cox's Bazar was captured earlier this year on 24th January 2026 in the early morning from a helicopter. We traveled to the southeastern part of Bangladesh according to my flight schedule. While flying over the Cox's Bazar area (the world's largest sea beach) early that morning, I saw this fishing village's activities unfolding slowly. This is one of the many shots I captured that day from a vantage point over the boats.

I took this shot with my Samsung S 22 mobile camera. A simple crop and light adjustment were done using Windows Photo Editor, and there it is for your feedback.

I hope you enjoy the image and any feedback is welcome.

Hi Kamal,
Another nice aerial image. The color palette is really nice. The on the beach works well against the smoothness of the water. The image is nicely composed.
Best regards,

Hi Kamal. I think the image works extremely well the proportions 1/3 to 2/3 I think balances the image nicely supported by the turquoise of the water contrasting to the shades of the sand. A further element, I like, is the zones of activity, nets drying in one zone to the activity of the fishermen and their boats the to the top of the image with very little activity which to my eye is pleasing. The nets left out to dry in the foreground give a degree of mystery to the image which allows the viewer to linger and examine further. well caught and presented   Posted: 10/13/2026 02:27:10

Hi Kamal. This is a very interesting scene and your composition works well. The amount of detail you have captured with your mobile phone is amazing. Your post-processing really made it "pop". I have no suggestions for improvement.   Posted: 10/14/2026 17:28:31

Hi Kamal - While it took me a while to figure out what was happening in this image, the image easily holds my attention as the story unfolds and I move through it. The detail is amazing. I think the colors, your choices in cropping and especially those nets laid out for drying and maintenance bring the image together in a pleasing, almost abstract way. Well done.   Posted: 10/22/2026 03:56:43
